Autumn campaigns have started! And new mortgage from Air Bank as well

Banks have already traditionally started autumn campaigns for mortgage loans during September. At the same time, Air Bank is launching a new mortgage for purchase of completed real property.
At the time when the Czech National Banks has repeatedly claimed that the “mortgage party” must end (a partial transcript of the statement from the vice governor of the CNB Vladimír Tomšík can be found at the CNB website), competitors have started a full-blown fight for the clients on the market which culminates in autumn. The autumn season that lasts approximately from mid-September to end of November represents a chance for the banks to grab a bigger market share before the very end of the year.
Discounts, bonuses and exceptions
When the banks compete, the clients profit. Currently, you can get, for example, an extra bonus to a mortgage loan in the amount of 6 thousand CZK at Raiffeisenbank, free loan processing and real property estimate at Komerční banka or considerable individual discounts at other banks. It’s already a tradition that the autumn months bring convenient conditions for mortgage loans, so if you’re planning financing already this year, then it’s high time, since a number of campaigns end already during November.
Air Bank enters the scene
In September 2017, Air Bank also entered the mortgage market. Until now, from February 2015, Air bank provided only loans for refinancing of current mortgages. This young and go-getting bank bets on flexibility of mortgage loans with the possibility to change the amounts of instalments in the fixing period and it offers interest rates in the range between 1.99% and 2.19% p.a., but only up to 80% LTV. The bank isn’t offering a higher ratio of loan to collateral value of the real property, the same applies to, for example, a mortgage loan for construction.
